I have a BX2670. I'm looking to put a electric actuator on my snow thrower and some auxiliary lighting. Where is a good place to tap the power for these items? I have been unable to locate a central fuse box or any other "main" power intersection except the battery.

Thanks in advance!

For the lights, I wired mine from the battery because I wanted to be able to turn the lights on with the ignition off.

For the aux -- probably better to be after the ignition. I bet someone else has done that and can provide tips.

Your fuse box should be right side of the tractor, covered by the battery enclosure screen.

I'm betting you have a Work Light circuit with a labeled 10 AMP fuse. The wires, with connectors, are often taped up just above and to the left of the top link mount in the back. I believe a BX70 has 2 hots and a ground. One hot is keyed with ignition switch, the other is always hot.

That could work for lighting (depending on what you're looking to do), but I would make something different for the actuator.

I would also get Operator's and Workshop Manuals (WSM) for the tractor and other Kubota implements:
