A dear friend who recently passed had B6200 4wd, manual tractor that he used to pull trailers and non-running small cars about his yard. I may end up following me home and I have a few rookie questions.

While it starts quite reliably, it has some character issues that I suspect might require attention.

First, the steering has a huge amount of play before it actually turns the front wheels and the turning circle is gigantic. Is this normal or is there some common issue that can be repaired without great expense?

The clutch does not seem to be doing much as it clashes when going into gear with teh clutch depressed and it sounds like the throwout bearing is crappy. Are parts readily available to refresh the clutch?

The rear 3 point hitch seems to operate OK. There is nothing attached to it at the moment and the tractor appears to have no attachments. Can things like a 48" mid mount cutting deck generally be found?

Could a front mount or rear mount bucket or backhoe be added to it?

The steering box sounds like it's worn out.
Yes you can get parts and the cost's vary.

Clutch is easy:

A mid mount mower, a FEL (Front End Loader), and a BH are very very rare for these older models.
It's not an easy task to get any of them.
A mid mount mower for it would require a engine drive kit because that model does not mid PTO to power it, and those kits are extremely hard to find in good shape.
FEL's are highly sought after and get a premium price when you do find them.
A BH for that model would be a three point model, and they are hard on the tractor, to the point of breaking them, it's not advisable to use one.

A differet tractor, that would actually meet your specific needs, would be a far better choice!
