I have an mx5400 with 2 rear remotes

I have a post slammer that uses one remote valve from the tractor to allow flow to the slammer and let it go up and down and then also left/right and aft/fore

the return of fluid dumps into a special hose that goes into the rear filler area

the remote valve in the cab has to be held open to allow flow to the slammer for it to work, is there a device or gadget to keep the remote valve open so someone in the cab doesn’t have to hold it open? It doesn’t have to be closed to operate the slammer in any way

the float position doesn’t help

ideas? Thanks

I assume you need a valve with a detent to lock it in place like this

there may be one in your set already or you may be able to get one from Kubota.

My rear remotes have one valve that will lock in position by pushing it past the normal operating position (like a float position on the FEL valve).

If you don’t have it, I don’t think you can add a random detent to another manufacture’s valve. You will probably have to use a Kubota part if they sell it individually or you may have to replace one Kubota valve with another Kubota valve.

Good Luck
