Just completed the preliminary assembly of a stand for my PD15 I used a video I saw on Utube to get an idea for this setup.
Built with economy in mind I used dome recycled parts from a propane turkey fryer LOL.
Materials
'square tubing 1/8" wall aprox 12 ft
4 4"casters swivel with brake TSC or equivalent.
3 ft of 1.5" x 1.5" angle steel
Turkey Fryer with 14" circular grid and base just for parts.

That's a nice stand, I bought a county line from TSC and it came with removable legs, I couldn't imagine hooking one of these up without stand or being chained to a post.

You are right without a stand it is an absolute pain! I have an old one that is stored against the wall of my mother-in-laws barn and dread hooking it up when needed.
