We purchased a 19 year old B6200 4WD in early December along with a BEFCO Till-rite rotary tiller and a custom-made single blade bottom plough that will attach to the 3-pt hitch. The plough looks a bit heavy for the machine, but it was cheap, so we thought we'd give it a try all the same. The Kubota Workshop Manual says the maximum size of the plough blade should be 12".

Does any one on this forum have experience using bottom ploughs with a B6200 or comparable tractor? If so, what are the specs on your plough(s)?

We want to plough about 1/2 acre of flat, flocky land here in Newfoundland then roto tiller it, so that it can be planted with fruit trees, grass and vegetable garden.

Thanks in advance to any one who responds to this posting. Peter

Out of interest, what's cheap for a plough these days? I may be going in the same direction as you ... ploughing then tilling.

We paid $300 for the plough which was made by a farmer somewhere in Ontario. I'll give you a report on its performance ASAP after breakup.
