OK guy I have a question, I have not had the rear blade on for well over a year and I put it on to day to clean up the road way, and try and drag the gravel back to where it should be before the temps plummet again. Anyway there seems to be a lot of side to side movement I mean a bunch maybe 10 inches on either side, it drags ok but I am wondering how much side to side play would be correct to have?

I tighten mine up where there is almost no play at all, maybe 1" max.

If you have side-to-side play you run the risk of suddenly snapping it from one side to the other under load, and breaking a turnbuckle, linkage or worse. Keep it down to a minimum. I generally keep it an inch or less of play.
