This is crazy. I want to buy a few feet of 1/2" (inexpensive) hose to use in transferring fuel from gas cans into my vehicles. I have a little electric transfer pump that comes with about 18" of tubing, but that still requires me to lift the heavy gas can up onto my tractor in order to refill the fuel tank. Ideally, I would like to pull up to the shelf the fuel is on, stick the pump in the can and the hose in my tank and fill'er up! So far everything I find to by is either not able to handle gas/diesel or it's massively expensive fuel line hose. Help! Any ideas for me?

Just go to any auto parts store and buy some fuel hose, it's not expensive.

I check with the station owner of where I purchase a lot of gas and diesel and let him know I'm interested in his fuel hoses when he gets new ones. I get the hose, nozzle and ready to attach to filter housing. Usually nothing wrong with them.

Might be too large for your setup though. As mentioned above, go to you local auto parts store and see what they have.
