I have to do some light (small sticks) clean up tasks and dethatching so I ordered a light weight Chinesium pine straw rake. Should have it in a week.

In anticipation of having some tines break I looked around for replacement tines without success. There are tines available but the way they are bolted on is not the same. Did not see any obvious link to the manufacturer for replacements.

Has anyone here come across tines attached like the one in this picture?

Yep I'm pretty sure my pine straw rake is like that
You're going to have to be really abusive to break the tines.

Good to know.

I figured most of the reviews complaining about breaking tines were people using the right tool for the wrong job or using it incorrectly. "It wasn't my fault - the product must be defective!"

I did find it curious that the tines are far and few though.

I ordered a pine needle rake from Titan Attachments at least 4 years ago and I have yet to break any of the tines. I probably rake at least 4 acres of pine needles every year.
