Past meets today

Long ago.
Early K5 Chevy Blazer with a stick shift that looks like it came from a bus, roof rack filled with volunteer firefighter lights and enough antenna to land aircraft.
Out steps a tall blonde with a mid-drift tied tee shirt , a mini skirt , and knee high laced Frye boots !
Almost 50 years later she still floats my boat in a flannel shirt, muck boots, and climbing out of a Honda Ridgeline !
Nothing like growing old together!

Who doesn't get a little turned on by a '70's K5 with manual....

Seriously, congrats! This spring the Mrs. and I will have been hangin' around each other 40 years....

50 years here too in June. More than that since we first met…life is good to some of us.

52 years married this June also. I still remember meeting her in her dorm lounge in '65. I walked in with her best friend, Laurie, who was a year older and I had been dating for almost a year.
I guess it was the sight of that flannel 'lumberjack' shirt that caught my attention. The next weekend I inadvertently had dates with both of them on Saturday night. Convinced my roommate to take her out in my place. Short story - My roommate married Laurie and I got the lumberjack shirt. They are still our best friends.
