Hey all - I'm finding a bit difficult to easily find parts that will fit my BX22MLB. Should I put the $ down for a parts manual? I've seen them on Messick's for around $60 and some on ebay for considerably cheaper. Are they the same? Is there another alternative? I'd just like to look up and order a part that I know will work on my BX22.

Thanks in advance!

You can download the parts books from the Messicks website, however, part numbers change, and you would be far better off going to the website to get current part numbers. There are a lot of different sections that make up the entirety of the tractor, so you will need to learn how to properly use the parts website.
A workshop manual is more helpful than the parts manual in learning exactly where to look.

Welcome to OTT
Having been formerly employed by a dealer & searching for parts for 21 yrs & then 34 yrs as a custom farmer. Beginning of the those 55 yrs searching for parts was on paper, micro-fiche & later years was online parts catalog

I think when searching for parts paper parts catalogs were easier to navigate. But as DR stated online will have updated part #S. Another thing to keep in mind when paper page gets dirty, greasy or torn one can't just upload a "new page".

Important thing when utilizing online parts is learn ID name of parts that manufacturer utilizes, exact location of part on machine & utilizing online parts catalog index.

You could try here also.

Your tractor is a BX22D, and can get parts diagrams/numbers there for the tractor.

Also, on left side of screen is an "Option Model" selection that will get you to the parts diagrams for the BT600 backhoe and LA210 loader.

One advantage to an online source like Kubota or Messicks is that you can get current part numbers, in case numbers have been superseded.
