parts for D1100

Hi there,

I'm brand new to this forum and located in denmark. I have an old boat with a Kubota D1100 engine, i think it´s a company called Hydro Marine, there have rebuild it to marine use.

My problem is that the cylinder head need to be replaced, but i can't find out where to find one. Is there any tractor which have the same engine.

Hope any of you can help me

Kubota l225 has a d1100 motor in it according to tractordata.com

That helped me alot, its no problem getting parts for that model...

On tractordata it is called D1100a anyone now what the a stands for

The A after the # is a version of the motor, most of the older Kubota motors are A's. if they revised it later it went to a B or some other designation, but on the 1100 I don't believe they ever did.

I don't think they changed anything on the head for it to become a marine motor, I think it was all in the exhaust and water intake.

Oh and that motor was also used in the L2000 too (same tractor).

Bout the only difference i've seen on marine engines is the rotation is sometimes backwards, or an extra water pump. Usually every thing else is pretty much the same. Might affect you if you needed a crankcase gasket or a starter.

Just a point of interest, Daren is still active here, but this comment was in 2014.

Anders has not been on OTT since June 2014.
