I have a BX2660 that when I put the parking brake on it wants to stick in the applied position and not completely release when it is released. I have to reach down and pull it up to the fully released position. If I don't, the brakes will stay applied. I have looked at the linkage and it moves freely. Is this normal?

Hello GNNOVA,

It appears that the tension on the return spring #80, can be adjusted using part number 10 and 30. They form a turnbuckle of a sort. I might be wrong, but it is worth a look.

Good luck with it. Let us know how what happens. BX2660 brake rod and spring.JPG
