Parking Brake not Engaging

Recently bought a used BX1850, tonight I realized the parking brake doesn’t engage. Is there an adjustment for this or is there something else I should be looking into? Going to pull it into the garage tomorrow and take a closer look. Pulled up the parts diagram, doesn’t look
like there’s much to it:

On my BX2370 I have a small round button to step on to lock the brake pedal down, on the B2650 I press a lever under the steering wheel to lock the brake pedal down. I don't recognize a locking mechanism on your parts drawing.
