Hi all,

I had an issue while moving brush this last weekend. I caught a branch and ripped the wires out of my HST neutral safety switch and also blew an EC fuse. I have a new switch on order. I obviously replaced the fuse, then got my tractor temporarily running again by crossing the safety switch wires. Since getting it back running my parking brake indicator has been permanently on. Locking or disengaging the parking brake doesn't change anything. I spoke to my Kubota dealer and the tech doesn't believe that replacing the safety switch will solve the parking indicator issue. He strongly believes it's a separate issue. So, any thoughts on where to start? I've already been under the tractor looking in seemingly every nook and cranny for wiring issues. That is how I found the safety switch problem. Do you think I still missed some wiring? Other issue? Any advice appreciated!

Can you physically see the switch in question?

If you open the crossed HST switch wires does the parking brake light go off?

That is a great question. I have everything all taped and tucked up nicely, but I could certainly disconnect it again.

Update - The HST safety switch arrived and I installed it. The parking indicator light issue went away with that installed. All is good!
