I'm looking to get a set of pallet forks for my BX2680. I'd like the SSQA frame mounted style, not bucket mount. I'm a little confused on the smaller units out there. The Class 2 forks with frame seem pretty straight forward with the 16" carriage height. It is lower capacity, subcompact tractor units I'm trying to figure out.

I see the sub compact models like the Worksaver subcompact pallet forks. Are these standardized like the ITA Class 2 forks? I thought I saw an ITA Class 1 (maybe a 12 or 13" carriage height??), but can't find anything now. Or are these subcompact pallet fork set-ups manufacturer specific? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I have a set from HLA, good for 900#, 16" height ( a standard...)

Have a look the specs at what the loader can lift ! You do NOT want to buy forks rated for 3000# if loader's rated for 1500 ! You can't lift 3000# AND that set will weigh more ,so actual payload is less.
Try to find the lightest set that'll carry your max loader lift. They aren't 'complicated' and odds are won't fail in you lifetime. Check for 'in stock' ! A 'better' unit (price or capacity) isn't BETTER if you have to wait 3-4-8 MONTHS for it.

That LP unit would be about $1100 CDN, more than double what I paid for my HLA unit, though that was 5 years ago.

good advice.

I built my own and they work great and are very handy..... BUT In hindsight I would have used a lighter set of forks and SSQA backing plate.

whatever you get, make sure you have a back board to protect anything from rolling back on you and the tractor.

lifting big logs can get sporty sometimes....
