At these prices I ll just leave my steel to rust in the barn

Muskrat: $2.65
Otter: $21.34
Mink: $7.95
Coyote: $6 – $68 (Eastern $30, Western $68)
Raccoon: $2 – $6 (no, that’s not a typo!)
Beaver: $8 (again, not a typo)
Red Fox: $14
Bobcat: Eastern $40, Western $260

yeah when I was growing up coons were $35-40 and rats were $5.50-6.00

had to get up early to check traps and still make the school bus.... but I never asked dad for money.

I still got all my traps in a duffle bag...

still get fur-fish-game mag too.

I remember catching a Mink by accident in a muskrat trap.... that paid $50.00

Those prices a unreal. Demand must be way down. Makes what used to be a fun lucrative sport, now, just a fun sport.

I sure wish they would put coyote and bobcat prices up over 100.00, maybe we could thin them out some. While other kids had paper routes I had snares, I sure am glad I grew up when I did.
