If you mean keep the front tipped up a few inches, put it float, and drive..... Then yes! The heal of the bucket isn't as strong as the replaceable cutting edge, so I try to only do that on soil with limited rocks.

If I missed what you ment by cultipacker, please correct me. I won't be offended :)

We are on the same page for keeping the heel of the bucket on the ground - a cultipacker is for seeds u just broadcast. It’s like a rolling drum to get best contact with the soil. I just think the FEL in float should be able to accomplish the same thing except the obvious fact that there’s more drag versus just getting roll packed.
