I have a new, 2025 L4060 tractor with the mechanical seat. With the tension control set to maximum the seat sinks way down. I weigh 240#. I looked up the rating on this seat. 225# maximum!

Has anyone had this problem and found a fix so I don't sit so low?

Maybe keep crankin on that mother. Or get you the air ride seat.

I had to crank the fire out of my seat to get her how i wanted when i first got the 3560. I was probably 220ish then. Wouldn't think another 20 would make that much of a difference but maybe so.

I'm about 205lbs right now but often fluctuate between 200lbs and 225lbs throughout the year.

I like to "fatten" up a little in winter LOL.

My seat in the LX was constantly bottoming out with my fat a##. I'm so glad I went with the air ride seat in the L5460.

Someone mentioned putting a basket ball under the factory seat and then adding air to it. Probably similar to what @Old Machinist posted.

Start drinking light beer!
No way brother LOL!

I don't drink beer too often but when I do its beer you can't shine a light through. Stouts & porters mainly for this guy.

I don't think 15#s is that big of a deal. That could be someone with tiny legs and big belly or the reverse. If you want a better ride, I'd look into air ride.

You might also look to see if you can raise the seat with some type of spacer.

My LX2610 seat was rated at 225 lbs when I bought it. I weight 225 to 230. I have for years and years. I set it to max on day one and forget about it.

I sit in it, it bottoms out. No problem. If the tractor is going fast to the point of bouncing, I slow down.

These Kubota seats are rated for Japanese sized people.
