First post here,, but I've been reading this forum for a few years and have gained a ton of knowledge from you all. I currently have a BX2380 60"mmm,fel, land plane, and pallet forks, but I recently purchased 6 acres of woods connected to my current property and decided it was a good time to add another machine to the stable. I also have firewood/hunting rights on another 52 acres connected to the land i just purchased.

After a ton of reading and watching YouTube, i decided to order a grand L4060 HST open station. Also ordered the 805 loader, 72" HD bucket, BH92 hoe, hydraulic thumb, 3rd function valve, and a 72" grapple from extreme implements.

My main uses for the tractor are wood gathering and trail maintenance initially, but I eventually want to clear cut for a garden, and a couple outbuildings.

Now the waiting begins. My dealer talked to his regional sales representative, and got a May/June time frame delivery.

Congrats on the new tractor. I have the little brother (L3560) and they are great tractors.

Have to post picks once the new tractor arrives.

Thanks Bmyers! Will do on the pictures. I initially ordered the l3560, but decided to get the l40 instead. Ive never seen a grand L in person, so ordering one is a bit of a gamble. Hopefully, I made the right decision.

My L3560 has been great! Really have been able to tackle a lot of work. If your experience with your L4060 is anything like mine, you will be wondering how you ever did without the tractor. Plus, you made a great choice by getting a grapple when you bought it. I waited and once I got my grapple, wondered why I ever waited.

That's a good looking machine 👌. As far as the grapple goes, I had planned on ordering one from EA, but I happened across a lighter duty one and just couldn't pass up the price. Here's a picture of my little BX toting it around
