Does anybody have a copy of the oil plug service bulletin they could post? It would be interesting to read what Kubota's analysis and recommended fix was.

Thanks,

Steve

That bulliten # is sb79-07. Part # for the new plug is 15401-33631. It says the old plug was aluminum, that explains why it comes out. Two different metal types, expansion rates different.

Thanks ipz2222 for the info thus far!

Would it be possible for someone to email me both TSB #79-07 and TSB #81-06?

From searching the web, apparently Kubota specifies tack welding the new steel plug into the cam, not just driving it in. I would really like to read both TSB's myself since I have multiple engines that need rebuilding. I want to make sure I address this issue correctly.

Thanks in advance!

Steve
