I just purchased a 2009 rtv 900 diesel. The dump box does not have hydraulic dump assist. What would I need to install hydraulic dump. That box is heavier than I can comfortably lift by myself even empty. At my age of 69 I need to make it lift by pushing a button or moving a lever.
Is there a way to tap into the hydraulics on the rtf?Ty in advance!

I'd install a 12 volt linear actuator with the correct stroke length. Much easier than a hydraulic cylinder. Surplus Center has them and so does Shoup in many different lengths and capacities.

I would also put in a linear actuator, like this one in Lil Foot, my "Golf Cart"

Nice buggy you have. I put a linear actuator on my wife's Sidekick right after she bought it. Kubota wanted 800 bucks plus install for theirs. Got one from Shoup for 300 plus my time to install which according to my wife, isn't worth squat anyway.......

I did buy the OEM rocker switch to make it look 'factory'.

The bed on the Sidekick is mounted over center so dumping is easy. Now, it's real easy.

Thanks. I'm sure there isn't another like it on the planet, especially with all that traction and a 16hp V-Twin.

Forgot to mention that Surplus Center has a good selection of linear actuators.

Would you happen to know the part number from Shoup?
