Our tractor stopped steering, the wheel just spins. Not very many hours on this tractor, loader works fine, seem to have plenty of pump pressure and no leaks anywhere. Recently changed filters, no fluid was low, always service it properly and have never experienced this type of problem. Splines in the pump maybe?

What year make and model tractor is it? The first thing that comes to mind for me is that the bearings at the bottom of the steering shaft bew out inside the steering box.
