Bx 2200 I've had this issue before. Turn the key, fuel pump clicking. Turn the key again, glow plug indicator on...wait 5 sec, then turn the key to start. Sometimes it would start, other times it would just click. At times, it would click several times before it would start. Last week, same thing, but it wouldn't crank over, (no click, starter). I replaced the starter. Now had the fuel pump come on, and nothing else as I turned the key. I replaced the voltage regulator. Now I have no power. Tested the safety switches, replaced all the fuses, and tested the fuses for power. Tested the battery, cleaned the posts, and cleaned all of the grounding, plus added extra grounding straps. Currently, I have no power, no fuel pump, no glow plug. I have noted I have power to the middle 2 fuses, and when I turn the key to start it, I lose power in the fuse box. Any suggestions?

If everything was working before the voltage regulator was changed, put the old one back in it and see what you get.

Is there a main fuse or fusible link that you can check for power on both sides?

Stop chasing your tail, get a good multimeter and follow the WSM diagram(s). Check continuity and voltages in order (i.e. continuity from battery + to starter B, starter B to slow blow fuse, slow blow fuse to main switch 30, etc.). If anything this will tell you what it isn't and maybe what it is. Hopefully it's simply a bad wire or safety switch.
