Hello All,
I am brand new to this forum. I just had a visit with my Son in Law in Upstate NY (Ithaca). He has a 1985 L345DT tractor with a loader and a Backhoe and other attachments. He has over pressure problems with the backhoe. My or his question is, we do not know what model backhoe it is or even what brand it is. So I/we are hoping someone here can identify the brand/model. I will try and answer any questions you all might have. I have 5 pictures that I am going to try and post, if not I can privately email them to you. Anyway the backhoe is painted yellow but appears to have been originally orange, so I am thinking or hoping it is a Kabota. Why it was painted I have no idea. So please someone help me find out what model this is. There is not tags or numbers anywhere. Thanks in advance, Kim

I don't know what make or model it is, I do know that someone has adapted it to fit first a quick attachment on a skidsteer and then changed it again to mount on a three point.
Considering the seat mount point is an add on mount and not part of the actual backhoe leads me to believe it came of a tractor with a flip style seat setup.

On to the real problem, if it's having pressure problems it's very possible it has the wrong style of valves on it for a Kubota. Kubota uses an open center style valve and other tractors use a closed center valve.
Very easy to confirm type, remove the return line and hold it in a 5 gallon bucket, have someone start the tractor and fluid should flow unobstructed Immediately, if it does not then it's a closed system style valve and without changing out the valve it will not work on the Kubota system.
