I went to the local Kubota dealer to buy a new B3030 three weeks ago. But they don't have one in their yard. I walked around with the salesman and I saw a brand new 2013 B3200 with LA504 FEL the dealer quoted me for $19400 cash price.
Then the dealer told me he has a 2009 B3200 with LA 504 FEL and B2782A front mount snowblower (the whole setup includes subframe) that he can sell to me for $17000. The unit only has 188 hrs I believe a new B2782A is like $6000+ in Canada.
Anyway, most time, I believe when something is too good to be true, then it is not true. And the salesman did mention it has been sitting in the yard since Nov, 2012. I was not sure if i should take it or not although it seems such a good deal (I saw my friend's 2005 B7800 with 350 hrs with FEL and tiller sold for $15500).
Finally, the salesman agreed to let me take it home for a test if I commit to buy a tractor from him anyway and let me leave a $4000 check as deposit.
I have used this tractor for 3 weeks and don't see anything wrong with it other than a few scratches and stone chips.
My question is:
Am I missing something here?
Should I buy the new one or take this one?

I think that is not to bad of a price in Canada.
In Dec. i bought a B3300 with the same loader, BH77 backhoe and about the same hours for $20,000.
Sounds like you are going to buy it....You should go through the entire tractor...everything... just so you know for your self that it is done.

Hi last summer we bought a 2006 bx2230,with a 48"rear mount blower, a 48" tillerand a 60" deck for $9500 privately in Brandon it had 370 hrs on it and was like new. I would check the prices on Tractorhouse just for an idea how they are priced. Hope this helps. Barry

Thank you, guys. Yesterday, i've gone through the whole tractor. Looks like the previous owner took very good care of the tractor. All the filters have number of hours mark on it. All fluids looks fair fresh. I think I am going with the used one. Save some gov't taxes. LoL.
I am looking to buy a BH76 or 77 as well.

The B3200's the exact tractor I want to upgrade to in due time! I've looked around and that doesn't sound bad at all, a fair price!

Hello,

I had a buddy tell me about a small kubota that had low hours on it for sale back in late 2010 here in south-east Indiana. I was expecting around 200 to 300 hours but found that the tractor only had 49.5 hours on it. A 2009 B3200 with 60 inch belly mower and loader. It was real dirty that day I looked at it but the seller told me to come back the next day and he would have it clean up. Well, it looked brand new. The rubber on the tires still had all the little nubbies on them, the loader had very little missing paint, the mower deck hardly had any scratches and remember only 49.5 hours. He said he needed $14,000. 14K is what the dealer was going to give the guy on a trade-in. I told him consider it SOLD but I'd like 24 hours to test on my property just 2 miles away. The rest is history.

I still have it today but I will say there are a few things I don't like about it but the price I could not refuse. He had the original paper work from the local dealer and he gave (with tax) almost $22,000 for it back in 2009. So I got a 7K discount for 49.5 hours......not too bad I thought.

Over all it's a really nice tractor but my biggest annoyance is the vibration when you get above 2K RPMs. The tractor will make your feet numb after a couple hours at that RPM range....so I just keep it a 2K or less 90% of the time.

Good luck on your tractor purchase.

A no-brainer. I recently paid $15k for a 2008 B7800, Woods LS 84 loader (which was new) and 72 inch MMM. 400 hrs and looked new. A new B3200 with the same setup is c.$25K.
