Hi there!
Since 2 days I own an BX2350. Today I worked for the first time with the tractor.
Suddenly the tractor won't move forward or backward. I recognized that the
engine slows down when I pushed the pedal.
I found the cause very quickly: I had set the parking brake unconsciously.
My question is: Could I have damaged anything? The tractor runs fine after all, but I would know if this can cause a damage to the HST or anything else.

Thank you for support!

You should be fine. You might have just shortened up the brakes life span by a week or two is all.:D
Keep an ear out for any unusual noises from the hydro, but I doubt you did any damage.;)

Thank you very much. I was very afraid that I have damaged my nice tractor.

Does modification or a kit exist that blocks the speed control pedal as long as the parking brake is set?
From my point of view this would be a good option.

Sure I have to learn to operate more conscious regarding the parking brake ;-)

I don't know of a factory or bolt on option for that.
I do know of a guy that put in a switch and a light to tell him the brake was on.
I would bet you won't do it again, or at least not for very long.
You now you know what happens and what it sounds like when you try and drive with the parking brake on!;)

If you set the brake hard enough the tractor won't move and you will know immediately that the brakes on.

I couldn't even guess how many times my wife or I left the parking brake engaged on our BX2200 and it still runs fine. Our BX2660 won't move if it is engaged properly or we would do the same with it.

I wish I could blame it all on being new, but that is not the case.

For my security I will attach a magnetic switch and a bright LED that shows me the state of the parking break.

Thank you all for the replies! I feel much better now.

Forget the LED, wire it up to a re-purposed cattle prod and I guarantee that you'll never forget it.

If it helps, I've done the same.

how exactly would one do this? pictures/video would be very helpful. I hate the parking brake on my kubota. I tend to try and leave it off, so I don't have to remember to turn it off.
