Hi All;
So I went ahead and ordered a tractor of the net! Unfortunately i am a few states away. So I want to be extra sure things are how they should be.
I am kinda mechanical so I understand some things. My question is what should I be looking for and actually testing when it comes off truck. Any issues I want to address there before I take final delivery. Hoping I get a good one from factory and only needs maintance. Its a bx2370. Does that model have any known issues?
Thanks for reading all opinions and input.
Tom.

There may be a dealer check list that comes with it. If not, think of what may be left loose or missing as you view things. One of the posts here left the impression that the radiator hose was left loose. If you don't get one, look at the attachment here

Hi new owner,

Get a fuel can and fill it from a busy station with fresh Diesel.

Start by having the delivery person show you how to check all the fluids. That way you know they are properly filled.

Review starting procedures.

Kick the tires. To make sure the have enough air.

Go over how to disconnect/reconnect any attachments and pto shafts.

This way you know they put it together correctly.

Take it for a spin around the yard and if you have a mower and any other attachments like a front end loader, give them a workout.

Then after they leave you get to read and study the owners manual.

Review break-in and warm up procedures.

I am sure there will be other things added.

Any questions ask here.
Include picture to help you explain.

What attachments did you get?
What will you be using for?

Ray

With the deck all the way up, make sure you can rotate the mower cutting height cam all the way around, and to the "TOP" position. It it doesn't allow it to go to the TOP position, the dealer didn't grind the cam gear to get it to go in that position. That position shows you to lock the deck all the way up, but still allow you to let the 3pt

Make sure you check the front axle oil. BX machines are known to be low. I am not sure who isn't doing their job the Dealer would be my guess. There are MANY BX's delivered with low axle fluid.
