Well I pulled the trigger. I am the proud new owner of a BX1870.

I cannot believe how useful this little tractor is. Yep, I have already made some mistakes but I am learning quickly.

Just for a few laughs here are my first mistakes...
1. ROPS does not fit in a standard garage door, off by 1/2 an inch!
2. Keep the FEL as low as possible when going down hill. I ended up with 1 tire off the ground. Luckily I was smart enough to be going as slow as possible.

I have the same problem with the ROPS - but I have the canopy as well, so I can't just fold it back. I don't see any reason Kubota could not have made the units just a few inches shorter. I guess they don't know about garage doors.
Way worse than having the FEL up going downhill is to have it up when traversing the hill!
So enjoy that tractor! It will do no end of good things for you!!
And welcome to OTT!
