Thanks for the chuckle. I wonder why "readers" and "lurkers" think it's a big jump to join this forum? It seems that when someone joins, they've "been here" for a while.

Anyway...you'll be glad you made the jump. You're one of us now. Scary, isn't it?! :)

Welcome aboard! Lots of knowledgeable tractor folk here - not including me. Is your tractor the L2501 or L2502, can’t tell from photo. The LA526 loader is the standard loader on the newer 02 model series but I guess they could have installed one on a 01 model, too. Either way, enjoy and, again, welcome aboard.

new guy here, Just purchased my 1st Kubota after many JD models.... stepped down from a JD 4610 to a L2502. great machine that fits the work I do now. Also added a landplane and currently making a harness to carry a 5ft drag harrow under the plane.
I'm looking at the hood set up and it seems by loosening one center bolt on the hinge I should be able to remove hood. Anyone tried it yet?
That's the only thing that JD had this machine beat on, motor access was a lot friendlier. Other than that its a great machine so far.
Also looking to add arm rests or another tallback seat in the future.

Welcome sir!

Thats a nice machine you have there and of course, I love that backhoe. (y)

Love your shop as well.

My mom recently had her floor done with an epoxy coating similar to yours, and although it looks fantastic, I recently installed a garage door opener for her and when I would drop a nut or bolt, it blended in so well that I had a hell of a time finding them....

Lmao!!!....EXACTLY!!! love the floors but I have a magnet broom for searching for hardware that I drop...I highly recommend ALOT less flake to anyone doing an epoxy floor!!
