hello,i am new to this forum,so bear with me.we have 3kubotas we use regularly(2m9000 1m9540)and l3650 used for bushhogging etc.we use the 9000's to pull 605m vermeer roller, the other we pull an r23a vermeer rake and 705 jd rake.the 9540 is used to pull gmd700hd g11disc mower.the 9540 would get the hydraulic fluid boiling hot, between 275 300 degrees, talked to kubota and they said it was normal(hahaha)i was mowing with batwing and the grass on the rear end housing caught fire.carried in and they discovered faulty valve inside the housing not letting fluid bypass properly everything that was burned and the valve was fixed under warranty.throwout bearing started making a bad sound, carried it to shop, they said clutch pressure plate and throwout out had turned colors because of heat, replaced everything under warranty@1800hrs.so if anyone else is having this heat problem feel free to contact me.oh yeah the a/c is much better in the 9540.happy new year.

It might be a bit expensive, but you could try a hydraulic top link. That might be enough to give the extra range you need.
