Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new tractor. Am north of you, up by St. Cloud. I start mine on low throttle , then bump it up a little to help warm it up. Being an ex owner/operator, have always used additives for my diesels, rig, truck and now my tractor. Have only gelled up once which sucks. I use power service religiously and have never gelled since. Not sure on your dash but on mine, have 2 markers on the RPM gauge. FEL and PTO. FEL is what I usually in when moving around, using the 3 point rear blade on using the bucket. PTO for cutting grass. Enjoy your new tractor.
I do not have a fel range on my tach only the 540 pto range, from what I've gathered 16 to 1800 should be the sweet spot possibly up to 2k but will listen to what the engines telling me, one of my trucks is a 7.3 powerstroke and have learned what the diesels tend to like! Im definetly a powerservice fan so im thinking I'll throw some in and see if it responds nicely to it! My father's side of the family is in the st cloud area we go up there frequently enough, thanks for the response! Seems to be a very easy going forum and am glad to be accepted as a part of it!

Keep it in four wheel drive if heading downhill on slippery surfaces. The front wheels don’t have any brakes so that may be something you need to play around with to get comfortable. There was a good video posted yesterday (that I can’t find today) where a guy slid down a long slope and tractor went over the edge since the brakes weren’t able to stop the tractor.
