I have an M5700, 4WD, great tractor, hardly ever cools off. We are replacing our old Oliver, and want to get another new Kubota, around the same HP. This one will be 2WD. Any recommendations? there are a lot of choices. Mostly farm/field work. Already have a loader on the 5700.

My only advice would be to go ahead and spring for 4WD. I am sure you know from your other Kubota, but I will never buy another tractor that doesn't have 4WD.

I agree with Doc. Not that resale is in your mind right now but it may be important in the future.

I am all about simplification. I'd buy another M5700 just to have commonality in consumables and parts. If you don't need another loader, that's fine.

Tractors in a barn are like guns in a safe: They get lonely if they are the only one! :)

I've got an M5140 which I like a lot, but it's less hp than your M5700. The M 40 series are no longer made and probably very hard to find a new one. My guess is the newer M6060 is more comparable to your tractor. It does have the DPF (Tier 4 emissions) which mine does not.
