Hey new here, just got a l235. Going to start changing fluids, they recomend sae 30 for the engine. I have always used 15w-40 rotella in my diesel engines, anyone use this or stick with the 30w. Also anyone know if there is a fram filter for the oil?

You can use 15w40 but there is no need for a oil that heavy in a Kubota engine. I have always used 10w30 or currently using 5w30. I'm not going to start a brand debate about the oil but please do you engine the justice it deserves and stay away from Fram filters. Use it for a door stop, crush it down and make a hockey puck out of it, paper weight or even target practice but think more of your orange baby than to use a fram filter to protect your engine.
