New Holland Question.

So, I watched one of the latest Messicks YT videos about a New Holland telehandler. Nice machine. I want one.

Anyway, Neil says that Fiat owns New Holland in the video. That rings true with a quick google search. Therefore I assumed that Stellantis owns New Holland because they own Fiat

Google search says, No, New Holland is owned by Fiat, Not Stellantis.

What gives?

Same was true decades ago in the electronics field. At the time I wanted to use a certain Motorola microcomputer(MC68HC11), greatest slice of silicon at the time. Moto said I needed to buy 5,000 pieces.Luckily the disti sales guy said 'here's 2, free' but they say Toshiba ! Yup, moto comes out door #1, toshiba ,door #2......

I gave up trying to figure who owns what, B&S is another pyramid of power that's confusing....

Take your choice, they are made in a whole lot of countries, so it doesn't matter who owns them.

New Holland tractors are made in many countries, including:

Italy
The main manufacturing unit is in Italy, under CNH Global Industries. The Jesi factory produces the T4 specialist fruit and vineyard tractors, the TD5 and T5 families, and their transmissions.

United States
The T8 models are built in Racine, north of Chicago. The New Holland campus in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania includes a 700,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility.

New Holland India produces tractors, combine harvesters, sugarcane harvesters, PTO assemblies, drivelines, and axles.

China
The Harbin facility produces high horsepower tractors, balers, and implements.
