Hello, not sure if this is in the correct section, but here is the question. Bought a new BX1860 in April. I really like it by the way, 41 hrs. on it now. When you turn the key on it says 1850, then goes to hour meter, then to tachometer when started. So did they put an1860 hood on an 1850, or were they just using up old parts? Thanks!

A BX1850 has not been built since 2008. Not sure why 1850 would pop up on the dash when you turn the key on.
Well the 1860 replaced the 1850. Could be a slight chance of the hour meter being used from left over old stock. Kubota changed from the 1850 in 08 and in 09 started the 1860's.
