High all,
new to this group and am having problems with the controls on this loader.
I had 2 float positions 1 full forward and 1 full back. Replace detent kit and now have float only in full back, also as you rev up motor the float lowers the bucket. Any one have any ideas?
Also I would love to convert to a single control lever valve. Any ideas?

I think someone has misinformed you.
You didn't have 2 float positions, there is only be one float position, it's the down position, "float" only happens when the loader is on the ground and has no down pressure, hence the word float. A detent (catch) should only work on the spool valve (loader valve) to make it float.
If your spool valve was sticking in 2 positions most likely it wasn't detents that was making it happen, it was probably a bad, dirty or damaged valve.
If changing RPM on your tractor is causing the loader to drop you have a bad valve.
Just buy a new single handle spool valve if that is what you want, just make sure it's the open center type.
