My recently purchased MX5100H, has the standard drawbar frame but was missing the drawbar. I'm accustomed to and have equipment that uses a clevis type drawbar (drawbar with hammer strap). I don't need the swinging type. I purchased drawbar pt. # 35080-29710 and drawbar hitch pt.# 35080-29720, when installed the center of the clevis is above the center line of the drawbar frame. It also doesn't allow the use of pull type equipment which needs the PTO. I'm use to a Ford drawbar assembly where the drawbar is offset making the center of the pull directly inline with the hitch. The swinging drawbar frame is $260.00, the question, does anyone have the swinging drawbar with the clevis and does it lower than the standard drawbar frame. Also does anyone the difference between the standard drawbar pt.# TC050-29710 and swinging drawbar pt.# 35080-29710. Thanks in advance

Can you just flip the clevis draw-bar upside down to change the height two inches.(Assuming tongue load is not too high) I added a swing kit to my grand l, and it is negligible difference in height. Did your l9496g CLEVIS come with a pin? I just purchased one and feel like it should have a factory pin included. The swing frame would probably offset your pull line enough for the pto. Would depend on driveline though, the new cv drivelines are rather large.

Thanks for the response, yes I could flip it over and will probably need to do that. I'm not sure if I could bend the needed offset in such a short space and the amount of heat required might weaken the drawbar.
I drilled out the drawbar and hammer strap to 1" in order to use readily available pins. Thanks

You mentioned drilling the drawbar. I am noticing the drawbar appears to be 25mm and the clevis is 1". Is this what you found?
Yes, they were both 25mm. 15/16" pins are not available, 7/8" would be loose, my Ford 4000 has 1" holes, by drilling the holes I stayed with a common pin. I still can't understand why the parts diagram shows the same picture but different part numbers. What I have will work but the I believe the tractor is designed to pull the load directly in line with the drawbar, your center of pull would be 1 1/2" above the top of the drawbar. I'm of the opinion that Kubota should have put a 1 1/2 offset in the drawbar. Thanks

Found the factory pin for the clevis. Part #99533-78250 It has a 5" usable length. It fits perfect for the 25mm drawbar pin hole.
