Mx5100 tire pressure

I have a slow leak in the front tire of my 2-wheel drive mx5100 tractor . I sure don't mind putting air in and about all that i use the front loader for is stacking 4x5 round hay in the barn. About how much air should I run in the front tires when moving hay? I keep about 12 to 14 LBS in the rear tires.

I'm thinking the book calls for 20lb all the way around.

Yes,keep tires at max inflation as per manual. Too soft is risky business when stacking bales. Hope you using some rear ballast. Myself-i dont like leaky tires. I have put tubes in when all else fails.

Also if your keeping that low of pressure, your tire may not be seating tight to the rim,,, bring the backs up to 20psi

OK, not to hijack, but I was reading a few weeks ago about tire pressure and they (you know how "They" can' be ) recommended to let the air pressure down until you get a full footprint of the tread on the ground. Not ridiculously low, but just full contact with the lugs on the sides of the tire. Now I am going to go see what the PSI that I have is on my MX5100 with R4's.

A lot depends on the sidewall ply.
On my MX, 20/PSI all the way around Seems to work good. If I did add air past the 20lb, it would be on the front only..
(heavy loads & turning a lot, where traction is not an issue)...
