Pricing Question

I just got a quote on an MX4900HST with the following implements:

MX4900HST - $37,200
Rotary Cutter - RCR1872 - $3,500
Box Blade- BB2572 - $1,900
3rd function valve - $1,900 includes install
Grappler- SCG1060 - $4,200

Everything is priced out separately, but total ends up being $48,700. Is this a decent deal? Looks below MSRP on the site.

It seems alright to me. If you say it's priced separately, giving us the individual prices might allow us to give you a better answer.

That said, I can't really imagine paying that for a tractor and implements, I buy most everything of mine secondhand so I'm a little out of my element here.

MX is an awesome machine (I might be very biased)

I really don’t know current prices but that doesn’t seem bad…is that a delivered price? Does that price include the loader and bucket? If I were worried about the price being a good deal or not, I would call another dealer or two for a price (I like checking three and see where they are at). Personally if planning to have the dealer do service I think that is more important to shop their service. Do you have any idea if that is a reputable and easy to work with dealer?

what’s the comparable price on an MX6000?

regarding the grapple, LP offers good stuff IMO, but to me that seems proud compared to some other brands. It might be worth while to price a couple other brands unless you are dead set on LP. (Ie. EA or Catawba…I am biased towards The EA and Landpride but I think Catawba is worth a look)…if you are shopping around at EA or wherever I’d price their Boxblades as well just to see what type of difference)
