Purchased my mx4800 2 years ago put 35 hrs on it. It’s been parked in garage for over one year. Finally moved to farm battery was dead. Charged battery went to start turns over but will not start. Showing code p0606. Where do I begin

First thing I would do is check for "rats" or mice have chewed into the wiring. Sitting that long - a mouse will cause havoc!

1st check your manual to find out what Kubota says that fault code means. I don't know IF it's the OBD-II one that says 'PCM problem', which usually says there's a fault EITHER inside the PCM ( computer) or more likely in your case, some 'wiring or sensor' issue.
Having sat for over a year, I suspect 'vermin' aka MICE could have chewed through a LOT of wires in a year,so carefully tug, pull, move all wiring to see if it's 'factory fresh'. Then move all 'levers and knobs' several times, to see if a 'safety switch' has gone bad.
Check the owner's manual to see if there's a 'self check' mode . Some models will display 'in neutral', 'PTO on', etc. Also check to see how to clear that error code. Hopefully you won't have to haul it 200 miles to have a Kubota tech reset it...
I would drain all the fuel, replace the filters, recharge the battery. Confirm glowplugs work for 30 seconds, and try to restart.
Those that own the same tractor can give you more specific information.

nice tractor! but you don't tell use how many years old it is and how many hours total time. So would start with the basics:

- clean battery cables and put a battery in you know is good. Charging a shitty battery still gives you a shitty battery. Diesels need good batteries / fair ones often don't cut it.
- check the fuel. Is it clean, no mould/algae, filter and water separator (if it has one) clean and free flowing, not plugged with algae.
- check the air intake and exhaust to make sure not home to mice or otherwise plugged.

if still having problems then we are moving into connectors, corrosion, wiring, etc..... as I would guess corrosion in places like FLA. is a real thing.

cheers and let us know how it works out.

Crack open an injector line to see if it’s pumping fuel. The fuel cut-off solenoid could be stuck closed or the lift-pump might not be pumping, especially if it’s electric. (not familiar with that mx4800)
