MX 5100 Hood

When closing the hood the strut stuck in the open position. Then the hood popped off the brackets in the back. I can't see how it was attached. How do you get the hood back on. It has a loader and it is hard to see back there.

There are two mounts on the bottom of the hood that go over a rod on the rear hood support.
