Have a muratori-mz4-165 left over from my old Massey Ferguson tractor. Only used on small garden plots sandy soil. Thinking about trying it on the l2501. Any thoughts anyone. Could just trade in on a smaller tiller.

On paper it might look like that tiller could be a handful for the L2501's modest PTO HP, but since you have sandy soil and a limited area to work, it's worth trying it before deciding it won't work. I had the same tiller... well made and reliable.

I would try it and if it takes too much power for your pto and soil, consider removing sets of blades starting at one end. This would effectively give you a narrower tiller.
