I did the modification to the original rubber hose that low pressure fluid runs through back to the fluid tank. After removing the tire and losing the fender to access the rubber hose and removing it from the tractor and cutting it to splice in the Tee fitting, I realized that my best option would be to replace the rubber hose with some more flexible rubber hose. I had some in the shop and I made the two sections that I needed for the new hose. I was able to get it installed on the tractor and get it all back together. The first pic is the old hose that I had cut and the new hose that I made with the Tee and the hose installed that I will connect to the T port on the hydraulic control valve. The next pic is the new rubber hose and tee with the valve hose installed to the tractor. The mod that I did required an additional change to be made before it would actually work, I had to make the more curved hose section about 3 1/2” longer than the original version. This was required to be able to bend the hose to get the modified hose connected to the tractor without having a kink in it so there would be no flow restriction.

Please stop making a new threads on every aspect of your project.
Just put them all in the original thread.
You need to do it because making new threads, makes it near to impossible to follow where your going with anything.

Keep it simple - one tee and three clamps!

I wanted to be able to thread the hydraulic hose from the valve to the fitting so that is why I used the tee fitting and the two barbs to attach the rubber hoses to it. I had considered using a three barb fitting but went with what I used!

I will do it! Maybe I can get the posts all together in the Modification section.

You are olanning on a DIY guide for others but you are over complicating things with this insistence on using pipe fittings.. Its a low pressure line. Cut the male pipe end off that hose and use a clamp.

Better yet, as I said in an earlier post about using that return scrap the high pressure hose altogether and use something like push-lock hose and fittings. Thats cheaper, more compact, neater, and what the OEM did.

Well I do appreciate your opinion but I have done it with the fittings and hose I had so I will go with it.
