Mid hydraulics question

Trying to find out which line is flow and which is return. any help appreciated. This is the lines that normally attach to the spool valve if a loader is used.

Trying to find out which line is flow and which is return. View attachment 45381 any help appreciated. This is the lines that normally attach to the spool valve if a loader is used.

Technically neither is return, the side closer to the tractor is power out from the pump and the outside pipe is power beyond to the three point.
Return would be taped straight to the rear case of the tractor.
