I’m having a shaft made for my snowblower, the builder is asking what RPM.
Any ideas?

They are asking for the max PTO speed. I don’t have a tach, not sure if that’s directly related to engine speed or not?

Yes, The 2600 was included as a "max", Assuming the engine will turn higher than pto rated speed. They all do ;-)

I just built my own PTO shaft while fitting the BX3750 blower (I hope I got that number right ;-)

I used the rectangular solid bar for the big span. It runs smoothly.

Wooah! That's a 3600rpm rated engine. There is a speed reduction in there somewhere. My bad...

My driveshaft builder tried a telescoping square tubing and it vibrates at 2/3 throttle. My mower shaft is splined and much tighter. We’re going that route now. Will report back when I get it.
