Hello folks , new here but I hope with all the knowledge available here y’all can help. I have an m9960 low profile tractor that I’m having a problem with, I washed the tractor a week or so ago and now it won’t start, it will turn over but the fuel pump doesn’t run, all other electronics seem to work like they are supposed too. There is a code on display it is eng ng. The book says that is engine communication problem, I’ve checked most connections in wiring harness and haven’t found anything, has anyone else ever had this happen? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for that link, yes all the fuses are good only thing I haven’t verified are two relays that are above radiator in front of engine, the prongs were pretty corroded when I pulled them but I cleaned that up and put them back but didn’t change anything.

I wish you luck on getting a reply from ditchdigger2 as that member hasn't been on this site for over 7 yrs. You might be better served to open your own thread.

Another good example IMHO why threads older than a yr or 2 should be open to being viewed but blocked to new replies

If working on electrical , especially computer electrical, remove negative battery connector/clamp. Look at positive cables/fuses/relays between battery and junction located at the top of radiator fan shroud. There may be corrosion or loose.

Finally found the solution on m9960 20 amp mini fuse in a single fuse holder taped back against main engine harnes. Location is about 5 inches cab side from the ecm you’ll have to cut tape to expose it. Be sure to use an ohm meter as mine was not blown but rather barely corroded of on one pin
