Hello all very new here thanks in advance for your patience. I have a 2006 m9540 that I have replaced the fuel pump on. I went with an after-market pump that cost around $30 as opposed to the $220 OEM Pump. The pump works however the cardboard gasket provided does not seal properly and leaks oil. Any suggestions? I'm tempted to buy the OEM pump but I'm not 100% sure that would fix the problem. thanks,

Are you certain it’s the gasket and not imperfect mating surfaces of the pump? If so… a genuine kubota gasket (or Permatex #2) might cure the problem.

I may try a new metal oem gasket and see if that fixes it otherwise it probably is the pump surface.
IF it’s an imperfect pump surface, I’d think a composite/fiber gasket and gasket compound (like Permatex #2) should do the job.
