Good day, first posting on this fourm, just bought my first Kubota and looking for some general information.
The tractor is a '79 with a 84 inch blower.
Hours on the tractor is 525-530.

One big question I have, is the LA1251 front loader the only loader which can be put on this loader or are there other units which can be used?
Anyone know of a la1251 loader for sale ?

I am looking forward to keep in contact with this fourm and pass on what info I may know.

Kubota's tend to have specific loaders to for specific models so no, they don't interchange.

However, other manufacturers like Great Bend and Quickie for example make loaders for various makes and models so, if you don't have a loader on yours and you want one, I suggest contacting them.

What will be against you is the age of the unit, 1979 is pretty old. 41 years old and 525 hours don't sound right at all. 12.8 hours a year?

Sorry that should be 1999 and it was in storage for 5 years

My concern would be storage, how and where. If a tractor sits for 5 years with no use at all, parts like seals tend to get leaky, batteries fail and fuel grows algae. '99 is still pretty old.

bought in 2000, used for 5 years , farmer died , stored and started every year , widow traded in on a small snow clearing machine

Well I just sold a 1983 case IH 1490 turbo charged tractor with a
front bucket , back hoe and a 40 yr old 84 inch blower.
It will continue working with regular greese and oil until someone breaks it
The 8200 has been serviced , tested and ran up prior to me purchaseing it.
Should I doubt what the seller says , I do believe , I have a good buy , but a better buy when I obtain a front loader.
Oil seals , o rings oil changes , filter changes and rest just gives me something to do in my idle time
batteries , oil , greese , i have plenty of , retired and not much to do.Just looking for information.

People tend to hang on to their loaders. You might try the tractor salvage yards and see if they're parting out one.

no matter where you live , if there any salvage yards in your area, I would be welcome to a web address or location to searchfor a loader to fit my unit .
