Hello

I'm new here and my Heart is FULL ORANGE :- )

I just bought a Kubota M8200 Narrow 2003 with a cab and i would like to install a homemade backhoe.

I would like to know : if I hook up the backhoe to the 3 points directly.... does it will ''damaged'' OR extra stress the 3 points system...???

The Backhoe I will build will be around 1500-2000 lbs

I know that my 3 points can lift around 4000 lbs...

Is they're someone can send me pictures of his set up...???

Thank You !

P.S. sorry my English is not very good... :p

It's not advisable to do a three point BH, lots of stress.
If you do, the bottom arms are fine it's the center link that is normally the week point, you will need to get or make the reinforced bracket for it.

Yes that is the weak point. ;)

A sub-frame on a BH is superior to a three point mount but with a narrow it's probably not even an option. :(

Not a bad Idea, I would have to see your exact BH setup to tell you what would be the best.
on some models it's better to add 2 links that go from the center link mount on the BH to the bottom pins or to even the draw bar mount, that will elevate some of the stress on the top link on the tractor.

I found out on my 3 pt BH with my B2910 that the lift arms seem to be the weak link. Bent one of mine using my BH. Of all things to bend/break it was the easiest to fix, just straightened it out and I was back in business.
But since I know that 3 pt backhoes aren't the best for my tractor I take it easy on what I do with it.

You are right ....i will go nice and slow and see what will be the '' limits''
of my rear tractor set up....

Something i can say is that M8200 Narrow weighting 5500 lbs and is build like a tank....and if i can lift 4000 lbs with my 3pts...that,s mean those lower bar are pretty solid....i guess....

Does someone know where i can buy rod steel with 1 in. i.D and about 1/2''
tk. wall for my connecting pin... ( see att. pic ) so i can make sleeving bushing to hold my 1 in. pin that connect my boom on my homebuild backhoe...??? like those welded on the U channel of the picture...

I'm from Canada , Province of Quebec , close to Montreal....
