got a 2026 m7060 just a few months ago. checked the transmission fluid and the dipstick looks completely dry. no audible or physical indicators while operating that the fluid would be so low. is there a sight glass anywhere on the machine to true up the dip reading?

Unless the models have changed over the years, there is no sightglass. It does not take much 'unlevelness' to cause a big change on the dipstick.
I use a fluid dye (blue) to make it easier to see on the stick, and on the snow for a leak!

Did you put the dipstick back in, wait a couple seconds then pull it back out? A lot of times the dipstick will be low or dry the first time you pull it out and you have to put it back in and out again to get a true reading.

Make sure the tractor is perfectly level when you check the oil level. AND make sure that you don't have all the hydraulic cylinders (like front end loader) fully extended when you check oil level. Those things hold a lot of oil!
